This family business was founded on September 30, 1991 by Carlos y Jorge Castilla. It started as a company dedicated to tobacco growing and grain processing with 70 employees.
Later on, it learnt that poultry farming was not fully developed in the northwest of Argentina, so it decided to invest in that industry. It developed a new product: the sale of fresh chicken and its by-products. The project started in August 2007.
In February 2018, with great effort and in order to finish verticalizing the poultry activity, it purchased the company called GRANJAS RIOJANAS, located in the province of La Rioja and dedicated to the production of chicken from eggs collecting to its sale, thus closing the structuring of the GROUP.

In June 2020, in order to increase production, it purchased a farm with 9 sheds and a cold storage plant ready for production in the town of El Carmen, province of Jujuy, named PICO REAL.
GRUPO LF currently employs a total of 473 collaborators who contribute with their effort and commitment day by day to continue growing.
